Navigation needs current positions, but that does not make every automatic movement record necessary for the same feature. The audit distinguishes route/warning services, automatic usage/location telemetry, marketing SDKs and third-party paid partner flows.
What activity is recorded in the inspected paths?¶

What remains and what is still unknown¶
Live location still leaves the app. CITS, essential maps/routing and operational account/push registration remain. Explicit hazard reports and manual ratings remain; automatic road-closure GPS feedback stops. Disable partner services removes Parking, Toll and Carwash menu/settings entries and the Parking shortcut, and stops customer fetches before the known native crash; it does not remove every underlying partner class/deep link. All six controls default on. Device approval does not establish Android Auto host acceptance, every paid backend benefit or exhaustive traffic coverage. Use the original Android 12L+ Play split set.
