Choose what changes in your app

The controls address different behaviours. Hiding something on screen and preventing the request behind it require different changes.

Patch name What to expect
Hide ads Stops the advertising paths inventoried for that app and removes relevant presentation. It does not by itself promise that every analytics service is disabled.
Disable tracking Suppresses identified collectors, identifiers and upload paths. Read the app's exceptions, especially location, push and playback coordination.
Skip consent screens Skips supported automatic prompts after its required privacy controls are included. In these implementations it records no automatic acceptance or rejection. Manual privacy controls remain.
Hide Premium banner / Hide Pro notices Removes the specified promotions or labels. This is a presentation change.
Fix Google services / Fix Google Maps / Fix PairIP startup Compatibility work needed for specific supported apps after modification and re-signing.
Read full articles / Unlock Plus / Unlock Pro App-specific changes described on the app page. They do not create a purchase or guarantee data the server does not supply.

Two choices that deserve attention

Buienradar: the ordinary tracking patch retains Swrve because weather alerts use it. The separate Disable Swrve and location upload patch also stops those alerts. Read the tradeoff.

Flitsmeister: Disable partner services removes the Parking, Toll and Carwash entries, including linked settings. Core live CITS location exchange remains enabled. All six controls are enabled by default in the reviewed stable release. Read what remains.

An app-page exception is part of the protection's definition. “Disable tracking” is the name of a bounded implementation, not a guarantee that an app becomes anonymous. Why retained traffic matters.
