An article view can generate publisher events, audience counts and interface-interaction records. Playing audio adds another layer: optional interaction telemetry and functional queue coordination must be distinguished. Similar code across these newspapers does not make their patch coverage identical.

What remains and what is still unknown¶
Catsure queue/heartbeat requests remain. They carry device ID, ordered audio items, media identifiers, position and playback state. Their server-side functional effects are not established well enough to remove them. Content, login, push, configuration and newspaper/PDF services retain genuine server results. Read full articles preserves received text through the marketing flow; it creates no purchase or server entitlement. Use the original Android 12L+ Play split set.
